We had a great day at the Bicester Christmas Lights Switch-on Market, selling Try Dive vouchers, running a tombola, and chatting to people about the joys of scuba diving and how to get trained or cross over from PADI.
It was a wet start in the morning, but our intrepid volunteers soon had the tent and tables set up and the stall running. By early afternoon the sun was out and so were the happy shoppers. Leaflets were handed out and contact details taken for follow-up. Hopefully we will now have a few more people signed up for the Ocean Diver course starting in January.
Well done to all those who braved the rain and the cold and kept the stall going into the early evening.
