About Bicester Sub-Aqua Club

Situated around 70 to 80 miles away from the nearest dives sites on the south coast of England, Bicester seem an unlikely location for a scuba diving club but Bicester Sub-Aqua Club has been around for over 25 years.
Bicester Sub-Aqua Club is a BSAC (British Sub-Aqua Club) affiliated club and follows BSAC’s training programmes and diving practices. We are a recreational diving club with approximately 25 active diving members. This means that as a club, we do not participate in any technical or mixed gas diving. We do however have a varied dive calendar year on year and try to introduce new locations to keep the diving interesting. Some of the UK sites we’ve dived include:

Every year we also try to fit in at least one warm water dive trip. The Red Sea is a common venue either hotel or live-aboard as it offers a relatively cheap relaxing warm water diving experience. Warm water dive trips in the past have included:
L'Estartit (warmish water), Sharm el-Sheik, Hurgada, Marsa Alam and in 2012 a trip to El Gouna is planned.
Within the club we’re able to provide BSAC scuba and snorkelling training. The training programmes are as relaxed or intense as you like to make them.
Bicester Sub-Aqua Club isn’t all about diving. We’re a friendly sociable group of divers and also enjoy the occasional night out.
