Bicester Divers

Portsmouth July 2008 - Trip Report

The trip was almost off, with the Saturday having to be cancelled due to a forecast wind force of 6 to 7. Just a bit choppy for even the rufty tufty divers!

For the Sunday, 9 divers made it - Colin Murray, Anoushka Clark-Dunn, Sharky Ward, Peter Choppen, Rod Hogg, Simon Robins, Cathy & Steve Prior, and Geoff Vernon

We dived the Flag Theofano and the Landing Craft. More details on the dives below the story.

New website unveiled

After many hours of development and learning, the new Bicester Divers website is launched.

The new website has been developed using a content management framework that will eventually allow the club members to contribute directly to the site. Whilst the site is still need of further development it is, I believe worthy for public use.

Plymouth - Sat. 20th - Sun. 21st September 2008

The diving should be excellent in September and this trip includes HMS Scylla, the newest wreck out of Plymouth, plus an old favourite, a fantastic wreck with lots of marine life, the James Eagan Layne. We may get out a little further to a beautiful offshore reef.
